The hometown of Nice Group’s founder, Mr. Chen Jing-Cun in Yongguang Village, Gukeng Township, Yunlin County was once just an unheard of small farming village. People traveling through here to reach Caoling did not have time to appreciate the verdant hills of Yongguang Township, and therefore it remained unnoticed to the public until 1986, when the founder was inspired to transform a plot of wasteland in Yongguang Village into Janfusun Fancy World.

In response to the high quality and quantity tourism needs of international tourists and tourists from China, Janfusun Fancy World launched Janfusun Prince Hotel and Chiayi Nice Prince Hotel by joining the Prince Hotels and Resorts franchise in Japan. Furthermore, the first high quality lifestyle and culture-oriented department store in the Changhua, Yunlin and Chiayi region – Nice Mastuya Ginza –was established, focusing on business recreation, tourism, shopping and entertainment, to develop a foothold in Yunlin and Chiayi and connect to the international community.
